Description Epizootic haemorrhagic disease (EHD) is a vector-borne infectious noncontagious viral disease of domestic and wild ruminants, primarily white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) and cattle. Sheep and goats might also be susceptible, but usually do not develop overt disease.
