Description Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) is a severe hemorrhagic viral disease of people, acquired from ticks, tissues of infected animals, and from other infected sick humans. Infected animals are usually asymptomatic, making farmers, agricultural workers, veterinarians, laboratory workers and hospital staff most vulnerable to infection.
