Please find above update number 2 of 2025 on the current Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) situation.

• On the 3^rd of October, Lumpy Skin Disease was confirmed in a farm in Spain, in the Cataluña region.
• Nine additional outbreaks have been reported since then. Control measures according to (EU) 2020/687 have been introduced.
• The surveillance zones affect France across the border, and emergency vaccination is being implemented on the French side.
• A total of 83 outbreaks have been confirmed in France, including 3 in the newly affected region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, north of Auvergne- Rhône-Alpes.
• Seventy-five outbreaks (74 in Sardinia, 1 in Lombardy) have been confirmed in Italy to date.
